Wednesday's card is a full one, and the five overs below come straight off the PropsEdge cheat sheets: Prop Streaks for the players whose numbers keep clearing the same line, Soft Spots for the matchups where an opponent has been the easiest in the league at a position, and Line Shopping for the one spot where a single book is paying more than everyone else.
The receipts are printed under every pick: the hit counts, the opponent ranks, the price gaps. Two notes on how to read them. The hit counts cover each player's last regular-season and playoff games, preseason excluded, so early in the year a lot of those games are from last year rather than evidence of this week's form. And minutes decide NBA props more than anything else on this page, so check the injury report before tip-off and let it override anything here.
Tonight's NBA picks
Ace Bailey, Points Over 11.5 (-104 at Courtside)

- OVER IN 13 STRAIGHT
- 10 OF LAST 10 OVER 11.5
- 18 OF LAST 20 OVER 11.5
- 100% HIT RATE VS 51% BREAK-EVEN AT -104
- UTA @ MEM, Wed 8:00pm ET

This is the cleanest streak on the board: Bailey has gone over this number in 13 straight games, and the last twenty are nearly as strong. The line has not moved up to meet the scoring, which is what makes it interesting at a price barely north of even money. Utah visiting Memphis is a pace-friendly spot, and Bailey only needs a normal night to clear it.
DeAnthony Melton, Assists Over 2.5 (-103 at Courtside)

- LAL RANK 30TH OF 30 VS SHOOTING GUARDS IN ASSISTS (LAST 10 GAMES)
- 8 OF LAST 10 OVER 2.5
- 12 OF LAST 20 OVER 2.5
- 80% HIT RATE VS 51% BREAK-EVEN AT -103
- GSW @ LAL, Wed 10:00pm ET

The Lakers have been the single worst team in the league at holding down assists from shooting guards over their last 10 games, rank 30th of 30 on the Soft Spots sheet. Melton has been clearing this low number in most of his recent games, so the matchup is adding to something that was already there rather than carrying the whole pick. A short price for a low bar in the softest spot available.
Jabari Smith Jr, Points + Rebounds Over 19.5 (+112 at Bally Bet)

- OVER IN 11 STRAIGHT
- 10 OF LAST 10 OVER 19.5
- 17 OF LAST 20 OVER 19.5
- 100% HIT RATE VS 47% BREAK-EVEN AT +112
- DAL @ HOU, Wed 8:30pm ET

Combo lines are where streaks tend to survive a quiet shooting night, because the rebounds pick up the slack, and Smith has been over this one in 11 straight. Getting plus money on a number he keeps beating is the part worth paying attention to; most streak props this consistent are priced the other way. Dallas in Houston is the earliest of the three mid-evening tips on this list.
Kawhi Leonard, Rebounds + Assists Over 9.5 (-109 at Courtside)

- CHI RANK 30TH OF 30 VS SMALL FORWARDS IN REBOUNDS + ASSISTS (LAST 10 GAMES)
- 6 OF LAST 10 OVER 9.5
- 11 OF LAST 20 OVER 9.5
- 60% HIT RATE VS 52% BREAK-EVEN AT -109
- CHI @ TOR, Wed 7:30pm ET
Source: Soft Spots cheat sheet (free preview, no account needed) · open in the app
Chicago has been the worst team in the league against small forwards in rebounds plus assists over their last 10 games, rank 30th of 30, and that is the reason this pick exists. Leonard's own hit rate is the thinnest of the five here, closer to a coin flip than a trend, so this one leans on the matchup more than the history. If the number gets bought up before tip, it stops being worth it.
Desmond Bane, Steals Over 1.5 (+112 at Bally Bet)

- +112 at Bally Bet vs -116 consensus
- 6.5 pts of price better than the market across 9 books
- Next best: -107 at Courtside
- OVER IN 3 STRAIGHT
- ATL @ ORL, Wed 7:00pm ET
Source: Line Shopping cheat sheet (free preview, no account needed) · open in the app
This is a pricing pick first: +112 at Bally Bet against a -116 consensus across nine books is a real gap on the same number, and the next best price is not close. Bane has cleared this line in his last few games, which is support rather than proof. The earliest tip on the card, so the gap may not survive long.
