Week 4 gives us a full Sunday plus a division game in prime time, and the board has already started to spread out between books. The five picks below come off the PropsEdge cheat sheets: Prop Streaks, Line Shopping, Route Mismatches and Speed Mismatches. Nothing here is a hunch dressed up as research.

The receipts are printed under each pick, so you can see exactly what the sheet flagged and decide for yourself whether the price covers it. Season to date we are 14-13, +3.5u, which is roughly what an honest prop season looks like: a near coin flip on count, with the plus-money hits doing the carrying.

The picks for Week 4

Fourteen straight games over this number is the longest active streak on the Prop Streaks sheet, and the line has not moved far enough to punish it. The price is steep, so this is a pick you take on volume of evidence rather than value hunting, and the sheet still shows the hit rate clearing the break-even at -295. Division game on Monday night, with Johnson in the short and intermediate role that produced the streak in the first place.

Bucky Irving, Rush Yds Over 79.5 (+275 at Bally Bet)

Rush Yds Over 79.5 · +275 at Bally Bet

  • Next best: +275 at betPARX

This one is a Line Shopping play first and an opinion on Irving second. The same bet is priced at +190 across the consensus of eight books, which means the number at Bally Bet is paying you extra for a side the market already agrees on. If you cannot get down there, the sheet lists betPARX at the same price, and below that the edge thins out fast.

Chris Olave, Rec Yds Over 74.5 (-185 at BetMGM)

Chris OlaveNO

  • 26% GO ROUTES — ATL #28 VS ROUTE
  • 70% OVER L10
  • 70% HIT RATE VS 65% BREAK-EVEN AT -185
  • ATL @ NO, Mon 8:15pm ET

Atlanta ranks #31 against the comeback route, and that is Olave's most-run concept by a wide margin, with the go route close behind against a defense that is nearly as soft there. The Route Mismatches sheet is built for exactly this overlap: a receiver's top two routes landing on a secondary's two worst coverage ranks. He has cleared this number in most of his recent games, and the hit rate still sits above what -185 asks for.

Kenneth Walker III, Rush Yds Over 85.5 (-115 at Fanatics)

Kenneth Walker IIIKC
Kenneth Walker III

Rush Yds Over 85.5 · -115 at Fanatics
  • 21.2 MPH TOP SPEED

  • 8.4 MPH/S BURST
  • 60% OVER L10 (Rush Yds)
  • KC @ LV, Sun 4:25pm ET

The Speed Mismatches sheet has Walker at +2.1 MPH over the Las Vegas coverage group, which is the kind of gap that turns a decent run into a long one once he gets past the second level. His burst number backs it up, so this is not pure track speed on a straight line. Near pick-'em pricing on a back who clears this line more often than not is the sort of spot you take without needing a story.

Darnell Mooney, Rec Yds Over 19.5 (-114 at FanDuel)

Seven straight overs on a low number, and the line has stayed put while the hit rate has not. Short receiving yardage props live or die on whether a guy is actually on the field for the full route tree, and the longer sample on the Prop Streaks sheet says Mooney has been. At -114 you are getting close to even money on a streak the book has not repriced.
